Recognizing the key role of public participation and charity, the Alavi Foundation designed the innovative “Mardom” project to optimize use of community resources for development and empowerment.

Encourage and cultivate charitable values and participation

Mobilize charity actions

Inspire public-benefit actions and establish frameworks for their replication by donors

Since the year 2005-6, Alavi Foundation has been designated as the empowerment arm for the deprived by the Mostazafan Foundation of the Islamic Revolution and is responsible for implementing this important task.
